We are seeking a meticulous and dual-skilled professional to join internal audit team of a Gold Loan NBFC. The ideal candidate will handle both the technical verification of gold assets and the rigorous auditing of branch financial accounts to ensure absolute operational integrity and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gold Verification: Appraise, weigh, and verify the purity of pledged gold ornaments to detect and prevent fraud or spurious assets.
- Financial & Accounts Audit: Audit branch ledgers, cash flows, daily transactions, trial balances, and expense reports to ensure accounting accuracy.
- Compliance & Risk Control: Verify adherence to statutory guidelines, internal standard operating procedures (SOPs), and NBFC/banking regulations.
- Reporting: Document audit findings, highlight financial discrepancies or valuation gaps, and submit comprehensive reports to management.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Education:
Graduate in Commerce (B.Com / M.Com) or finance-related fields preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 1–3 years of experience handling both gold appraisal and financial accounting/auditing in Banking or NBFCs.
- Skills: Strong knowledge of accounting principles, proficiency in MS Excel/Tally, and excellent gold valuation skills.
- Requirements: Must be willing to travel extensively across branches and possess a valid driving license.
