About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Pivotal CRM Data Engineer with strong hands-on Pivotal CRM experience to reverse engineer an existing on-premises environment and build a reliable data foundation for reporting and downstream integrations.

You will investigate the existing data environment, document its structure and customizations, and map CRM entities to business concepts and reporting requirements. You will also reconcile source data against existing reports, support integration into TrackWise,



and help define a standardized CRM data model for the enterprise data lake.

This role requires strong SQL, data modeling, and analytical skills, along with the ability to work independently and communicate findings clearly to technical and business stakeholders.

The initial engagement is expected to last six months or longer. Strong Pivotal CRM experience is mandatory.

What You’ll Do

- Reverse engineer the existing Pivotal CRM data environment and develop a comprehensive understanding of available datasets.
- Work with the client to obtain appropriate access to all relevant Pivotal CRM data.
- Identify and document tables, fields, keys, relationships, and customizations.
- Map Pivotal CRM tables and entities to their corresponding business concepts and reporting requirements.
- Reconcile Pivotal CRM data with existing reports and business data to validate accuracy and completeness.
- Investigate data discrepancies and work with stakeholders to resolve them.
- Create data dictionaries, source-to-target mappings, and basic data lineage documentation.
- Support ongoing data and reporting requirements involving Pivotal CRM.
- Apply Pivotal CRM data knowledge to support data pipeline integration into TrackWise.




- Help define a standardized CRM data model for the enterprise data lake.
- Collaborate with data engineering, reporting, and business teams to resolve data and integration issues.
- Maintain clear documentation of findings, mapping decisions, and unresolved dependencies.

What We’re Looking For

- At least four years of overall data engineering or data architecture experience.
- Solid hands-on experience with Pivotal CRM is mandatory, preferably in an on-premises environment.
- Proven ability to reverse engineer complex or legacy CRM data environments.
- Strong SQL and relational database skills.
- Strong understanding of data modeling, relationships, keys, and data reconciliation.
- Experience with ETL/ELT and data pipeline development.
- Experience working with data lakes or data warehouses.
- Ability to interpret existing schemas and customizations and connect them to business requirements.
- Ability to create clear data dictionaries, mappings, and technical documentation.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to data accuracy and completeness.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of technical investigations.
- Effective communication with technical teams and business stakeholders.

Nice to Have

- Experience working with Pivotal CRM data for reporting, analytics, or integrations.
- Experience with TrackWise or TrackWise Digital.
- Experience with AWS or Azure data engineering services.
- Experience building standardized enterprise data models.
