A Hair Transplant Technician specializing in the slit/SAPHIRE placement method prepares, dissects, and meticulously places follicular unit grafts into microscopic incisions (slits) opened by the lead surgeon. Core Responsibilities

- Graft Preparation & Dissection: Tease apart harvested donor tissue under high-powered microscopes into natural 1-to-4 hair follicular units while maintaining graft hydration and viability.
- Graft Placement / Insertion: Delicately insert grafts using specialized forceps or placers into the pre-made coronal or sagittal slits created by the physician, matching natural hair angles and depth.
- Graft Sorting & Counting: Accurately sort single, double, and multi-hair grafts and maintain exact running counts for density verification.
- Surgical Suite Management: Set up, sterilize, and maintain specialized surgical micro-instruments, microscopes, and preservation solutions.
