Job Summary:
Responsible for sterilization, disinfection, and distribution of surgical instruments in compliance with NABH standards. Ensures infection control, patient safety, and smooth support to OT, especially for ophthalmic procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee cleaning, sterilization (Autoclave, ETO), and storage of instruments
- Maintain sterilization records, logs, and audit readiness (NABH compliance)
- Monitor sterilization indicators and ensure process effectiveness
- Manage inventory of sterile supplies and equipment maintenance
- Supervise and train CSSD staff; prepare duty rosters
- Coordinate with OT for timely instrument availability
- Ensure adherence to infection control, PPE, and biomedical waste protocols
Eligibility:
- Qualification: Diploma in CSSD / OT Technology or relevant field
- Experience: 3–5 years in CSSD (NABH hospital preferred)

Note:
Experience with ophthalmic instruments and quick sterilization turnaround is an advantage.
