2D DESIGNER

Adam Design Studio LLP – Kochi, Kerala

Adam Design Studio LLP is seeking a skilled, detail-oriented 2D Designer to join our interior design team. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in residential interior drawings, detailed working drawings, furniture layouts, and site drawings, and the ability to coordinate effectively with the design and execution teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare detailed 2D interior drawings based on approved designs and concepts.
- Prepare working drawings, furniture layouts, ceiling layouts, electrical layouts, flooring layouts, and other required interior drawings.
- Develop accurate drawings based on site measurements and actual site conditions.
- Coordinate with 3D designers, site supervisors, project coordinators, and other team members.
- Visit project sites when required to take measurements, verify dimensions, and make necessary drawing corrections.
- Ensure drawings are accurate, practical, and suitable for site execution.
- Revise drawings based on client requirements, design changes, and site conditions.
- Prepare detailed drawings for custom furniture, wardrobes, kitchens, false ceilings, partitions, and other interior elements.
- Maintain proper documentation and updated versions of all project drawings.
- Communicate with the site team to resolve drawing-related issues and avoid errors or rework.




- Ensure all drawings are completed within the project timeline.

Requirements

- Diploma/Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience in interior design drafting.
- Strong experience in detailed residential interior drawings is preferred.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential.
- Knowledge of interior detailing, furniture construction, materials, and site execution.
- Ability to understand 3D designs and convert them into accurate 2D working drawings.
- Positive attention to detail and dimensional accuracy.
- Willingness to visit project sites whenever required.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work within deadlines and handle multiple projects.

Preferred Candidate

Candidates with practical experience in interior design and detailed working drawings will be preferred. Candidates whose experience is mainly limited to general architectural or construction drawings may not be suitable for this position.
