JOB DESCRIPTION – EXPERIENCED AESTHETIC CLINIC NURSE

Position: Experienced Clinical / Aesthetic Nurse

Experience: Minimum 2–3 years of relevant hands-on experience

About The Role

The Skin Art Clinic is looking for an experienced, confident and professionally trained Nurse to work closely with the Dermatologist and support the clinic's clinical and aesthetic procedures.

This is a hands-on clinical role. The candidate must already be confident in performing routine nursing procedures independently and assisting the Dermatologist during aesthetic and injectable treatments.

We are specifically looking for an experienced nurse, not a fresher or a candidate who requires basic training in IVs, cannulation or injections.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform IV cannulation and administer IV drips independently as a regular part of the role.
- Assist the Dermatologist during injectable treatments and aesthetic procedures.
- Prepare and administer injections as prescribed and under the Dermatologist's direction.
- Prepare all medicines, syringes, needles, cannulas, IV fluids, consumables and instruments required for procedures.
- Ensure the treatment room and all equipment are properly prepared before every procedure.
- Monitor patients during IV drips, injections and procedures and immediately report any concerns or reactions to the Dermatologist.
- Check and record patient vitals whenever required.
- Provide appropriate pre- and post-procedure nursing care.
- Maintain strict aseptic technique, infection control,



hygiene and sterilisation protocols.
- Handle and dispose of needles, syringes, cannulas and biomedical waste safely as per clinic protocols.
- Maintain accurate nursing, treatment and patient records.
- Monitor and maintain adequate stock of IV fluids, medicines, cannulas, syringes and other clinical consumables.
- Check expiry dates and ensure proper storage of medicines and clinical supplies.
- Keep the procedure/treatment area clean, organised and ready for use.
- Be attentive to patient comfort and provide skilled support throughout procedures.
- Follow the Dermatologist's instructions and clinic protocols accurately and responsibly.
- Be capable of responding calmly and appropriately to any immediate patient discomfort or adverse reaction and promptly alert the Dermatologist.

Mandatory Skills & Experience

- Minimum 2–3 years of practical nursing experience preferred.
- Relevant nursing qualification and registration as applicable.
- Hands-on experience with IV cannulation is mandatory.
- Must be confident in administering IV drips independently.
- Experience with injections and assisting during injectable/aesthetic procedures is mandatory/preferred.




- Experience working in a dermatology, aesthetic, cosmetology, plastic surgery or similar clinical setup will be highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of infection control and aseptic techniques.
- Should be comfortable working closely with a Dermatologist during procedures.
- Must be able to work independently and confidently without requiring basic procedural training.
- Good patient-handling and communication skills.
- Professional, well-groomed, punctual and disciplined.

Candidates We Are Looking For

Candidates We Do NOT Prefer

- Freshers or newly qualified nurses.
- Candidates without hands-on IV cannulation experience.
- Candidates who are not confident administering IV drips.
- Candidates who have only theoretical knowledge of procedures.
- Candidates who require extensive basic training before independently handling routine nursing responsibilities.
- Candidates with only general reception/administrative experience and limited clinical exposure.

The role requires a nurse who can join the clinic and confidently handle the above responsibilities from the beginning, while working under the Dermatologist's clinical supervision.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
