About UrbanCoach:

UrbanCoach is dedicated to guiding students through the complexities of the international education process—from selecting the right universities to preparing standout applications. As a content writer, you’ll be instrumental in helping students succeed through compelling, tailored content, especially academic SOPs, personal essays for scholarships, visas, and application letters.

Role: Content Writer

Location: Onsite, Chennai, TamilNadu

Type: Full-time

What You’ll Do:

- Craft Personalized SOPs: Work closely with students to create powerful, tailored Statements of Purpose (SOPs), personal essays, and letters that resonate with admissions teams at leading global universities.
- Develop High-Impact Content: Write insightful blogs, articles, and social media content on topics like university admissions, visa processes, scholarships, and study abroad tips.
- Be the Voice of UrbanCoach: Build content that reflects our brand and vision, helping students and parents navigate the complexities of international education.
- Collaborate with Counselors:



Partner with our student counselors to gather detailed profiles and ensure each SOP is unique and personalized.
- Optimize for SEO: Ensure all content is optimized for search engines, boosting visibility and engagement across our digital platforms.
- Edit & Refine: Polish content to ensure clarity, consistency, and alignment with UrbanCoach's tone and standards.

Requirements:

- 1+ years of experience in content writing, preferably with a focus on education, SOP writing, or application documents.
- Proven ability to write compelling SOPs, personal essays, and related documents tailored to specific universities and programs.
- Solid writing and editing skills with attention to detail.
- Experience in SEO and content optimization.
- Familiarity with international education systems and application processes (e.g., UK, Germany, France, Ireland, Australia).
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work closely with counselors and students.

Nice to Have:

- Experience working with an overseas education consultancy.
- Knowledge of different study abroad markets and universities.
- Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) like WordPress.

Salary : 2.4 LPA to 3.6 LPA

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
