We are looking for a Placement Officer to manage employment opportunities, placement activities, joining formalities, documentation, and post-placement tracking for candidates trained under the DDU-GKY project.

The candidate will be responsible for building relationships with employers, identifying suitable job opportunities, coordinating interviews and job drives, supporting candidates throughout the placement process, and tracking their employment and retention after joining.

Key Responsibilities

- Identify suitable employment opportunities for candidates completing DDU-GKY training.
- Establish and maintain contact with companies and employers to collect current job vacancies.
- Match candidate profiles with suitable employer requirements and job roles.
- Organize job drives, interviews, recruitment events, and other placement activities.
- Guide candidates on interview preparation, job requirements, workplace expectations, and employment opportunities.
- Prepare and update candidate resumes and profile details.
- Coordinate with employers regarding salary, job location, designation, joining date, and other employment-related details.
- Collect and maintain offer letters, joining documents, and other employment records.
- Verify that selected candidates have successfully joined their respective organizations.
- Conduct regular follow-ups with placed candidates and maintain post-placement and retention records.
- Provide basic guidance to candidates regarding relocation, accommodation, and workplace-related requirements wherever applicable.
- Maintain placement-related documents, employer details, candidate records, and supporting documentation.




- Update placement and joining information in the DDU-GKY MIS/online portal.
- Prepare regular reports on placement targets, achievements, and progress.
- Build long-term relationships with employers and generate repeat job vacancies.
- Coordinate with counselling, training, mobilization, and other project teams.
- Maintain placement documentation and records in accordance with project guidelines.

Required Skills

- Basic knowledge of computers, MS Office, and MIS systems.
- Positive documentation and reporting skills.
- Strong follow-up and coordination abilities.

- Ability to communicate professionally with employers and candidates.
- Willingness to travel and conduct field visits as required.

Qualification & Preferred Experience

- Intermediate or Degree qualification.
- Experience in placement, recruitment, HR, business development, or skill-development projects is preferred.
- Experience in DDU-GKY, PMKVY, or similar government skill-development projects will be an added advantage.
- Candidates with strong communication, coordination, and relationship-building skills may also apply.
