Role Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and result-oriented Workshop Manager to lead our service operations in Angul. You will be responsible for the end-to-end management of the workshop, focusing on operational efficiency, high-quality service delivery, and team leadership. The goal is to drive customer satisfaction while maintaining a productive and disciplined technical environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Operational Leadership: Manage day-to-day workshop activities, ensuring a smooth workflow from vehicle intake to final delivery.
- Team Management: Supervise and mentor technicians and service staff, ensuring peak productivity and technical accuracy.
- Resource Planning: Allocate work orders efficiently to meet deadlines and reduce vehicle turnaround time (TAT).
- Quality Assurance: Conduct rigorous quality checks to ensure all repairs and services meet company and industry standards.
- Customer Relations: Professionally handle customer escalations, providing technical explanations and resolving grievances to ensure long-term loyalty.
- Inventory & Assets: Oversee spare parts inventory levels,



tool maintenance, and equipment upkeep to prevent operational delays.
- Documentation: Ensure meticulous maintenance of job cards, service history, and statutory records.
- Safety & Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols and company policies within the workshop premises.

Candidate Requirements

- Education: Diploma or B.Tech in Mechanical or Automobile Engineering.
- Experience: 2–5 years of proven experience in workshop or service station operations (Automobile industry).
- Leadership: Strong ability to lead a diverse team of technical and non-technical staff.
- Technical Expertise: Deep understanding of modern automobile systems and diagnostic procedures.
- Soft Skills: Strong communication, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution abilities.

Preferred Skills

- Proficiency in Workshop Management Software or ERP systems.
- Robust operational planning and decision-making skills under pressure.
- Demonstrated ability to improve workshop efficiency and service profitability.
