Job Description – Registered Nurse

Reports To - Chief Nursing Officer

Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate, responsible, and skilled Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in accordance with established nursing standards and hospital policies. The nurse will monitor patients, administer medications and treatments, assist doctors during procedures, maintain accurate clinical records, and provide education and emotional support to patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities

- Assess patients’ health conditions and monitor vital signs regularly.
- Provide direct nursing care to patients according to their individual needs.
- Monitor patients for changes in condition and promptly report abnormalities to the medical team.
- Respond appropriately to medical emergencies and participate in emergency procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness and proper functioning of nursing equipment.
- Ensure proper handover of patient information between shifts.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and professional standards at all times.
- Participate in health education, quality-improvement, and continuing nursing education programs.

Required Qualifications

- Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.Sc. Nursing).
- Valid nursing registration with the appropriate nursing council.
- Relevant clinical experience is preferred; fresh graduates may also be considered depending on the position.




- Current knowledge of basic nursing procedures, patient safety, and infection-control practices.

Working Conditions

The nurse may work in hospital wards, intensive care units, emergency departments, outpatient departments, operating theatres. The role may require prolonged standing, shift work, and exposure to infectious or clinical environments.

Pay: ₹22,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
