Medical Representative

Job Summary

We are hiring a Medical Representative for a field-based sales role in Pune. The position involves developing professional relationships with healthcare and wellness professionals, providing product information, identifying business opportunities, and supporting sales growth within the assigned territory.

The ideal candidate should have strong communication skills, a customer-focused approach, and the ability to work independently in a field-sales environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Visit doctors, nutritionists, dietitians, wellness centres, clinics, and other relevant healthcare professionals within the assigned territory.
- Develop and maintain professional relationships with existing and potential customers.
- Provide accurate and appropriate information about healthcare, nutrition, and wellness products.
- Conduct product presentations and explain product features, benefits, and relevant information to customers.
- Identify new business opportunities and develop the assigned territory.
- Follow up with existing and prospective customers to support business development.
- Maintain regular communication with customers and address routine product-related queries.
- Achieve assigned sales and business-development targets.
- Plan daily and weekly field visits based on territory requirements.
- Maintain an updated database of customers, prospects, clinics, and healthcare professionals.
- Monitor customer feedback, competitor activities, and relevant market developments.
- Support customer meetings, educational sessions, product awareness activities, and other business initiatives.




- Maintain accurate records of field visits, customer interactions, sales activities, and expenses.
- Submit regular activity and sales reports to the reporting manager.
- Follow all applicable company policies, professional standards, and relevant industry requirements.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Science, Pharmacy, Life Sciences, or a related field.
- B.Pharm or B.Sc. qualification is preferred.
- Previous experience in medical sales, pharmaceutical sales, healthcare sales, nutraceuticals, wellness, or related field sales is preferred.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong relationship-building and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to explain product information clearly and professionally.
- Comfortable with field travel across the assigned territory.
- Ability to work independently and manage daily field activities.
- Target-oriented and customer-focused approach.

Preferred Skills

- Knowledge of the Pune healthcare and wellness market.
- Existing professional relationships with doctors, nutritionists, dietitians, clinics, or wellness professionals.
- Basic understanding of human physiology, nutrition, pharmacology, or healthcare products.
- Experience in healthcare, wellness, nutraceutical, pharmaceutical, or consumer healthcare sectors.
- MBA, PG Diploma, or relevant qualification in Sales or Marketing is an added advantage.

Experience

1–5 years of relevant experience is preferred.

Freshers with a relevant educational background and solid communication skills may also be considered.

Pay: ₹200,000.00 - ₹400,000.00 per year
