Industrial AC Repair & Servicing Technician

Job Summary

We are looking for a practical, hands-on and technically competent Industrial AC Repair & Servicing Technician for our Kaman, Vasai location. The candidate should have a good working knowledge of industrial/commercial air-conditioning systems, maintenance, servicing, fault-finding, and breakdown troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities

· Carry out preventive and breakdown maintenance of industrial/commercial AC systems.

· Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical, mechanical and refrigeration-related AC faults.

· Perform copper pipe brazing, jointing and repair work.

· Identify and rectify refrigerant/gas leakage using appropriate testing methods.

· Carry out refrigerant gas charging/filling as per equipment specifications.

· Inspect, repair and replace defective AC components such as compressors, motors, capacitors, contactors, relays, thermostats, sensors, valves, filters and other related parts.

· Check AC performance, cooling efficiency, pressure, temperature and operating conditions.

· Perform regular cleaning, servicing and preventive maintenance of AC equipment.

· Handle and correctly use required tools, tackles, gauges, testing instruments and service equipment.

· Attend emergency breakdowns and restore equipment operation with minimum downtime.

· Maintain proper records of maintenance, breakdowns, replaced parts and service activities.

· Follow all required electrical, refrigeration, safety and workplace procedures.

· Coordinate with supervisors/maintenance personnel regarding equipment condition and pending repairs.





- Ensure tools and equipment are properly maintained and safely stored.

Required Technical Skills

· Good practical knowledge of industrial/commercial AC systems and refrigeration cycles.

· Hands-on experience in:

o Copper brazing and pipe work

o Leakage detection and rectification

o Vacuuming and pressure testing

o Refrigerant/gas charging

o Compressor and condenser/evaporator troubleshooting

o Electrical fault finding

o Replacement of AC spare parts

o Preventive and breakdown maintenance

· Ability to read basic electrical/refrigeration diagrams is preferred.

· Knowledge of safe handling of refrigerants and AC service equipment.

Candidate Profile

· Overall experience: 2–4 years in AC repair, servicing and maintenance.

· A physically fit, practical and hands-on technician will be given preference.

· Should be capable of independently attending routine maintenance and breakdown-related work.

· Should have a problem-solving approach and ability to identify the root cause of equipment failure.

· Should be disciplined, reliable and safety-conscious.

· Industrial/commercial AC experience will be preferred.

· ITI/Diploma in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning, Mechanical, Electrical or related trade will be an added advantage.

Preferred Qualities

· Solid troubleshooting and fault-finding ability.

· Good workmanship and attention to detail.

· Willingness to work at site and attend urgent breakdowns when required.

· Ability to work independently as well as with the maintenance team.

· Proper use and care of company tools, tackles and testing instruments.

Preference: Candidates with strong practical field experience and hands-on AC troubleshooting skills will be preferred over candidates having only theoretical knowledge.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
