Position Description

The Zonal Agency Manager will lead and manage the agency channel for the assigned zone, driving recruitment, development, and performance of agents to achieve business targets. This role involves strategic planning, team leadership, and ensuring compliance while fostering strong relationships with agents and partners to maximize growth and profitability.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and execute zonal strategies for agency channel growth.
- Recruit, train, and mentor agency managers and agents to build a high-performing team.
- Drive sales targets for life/general insurance products through the agency network.
- Monitor and analyze performance metrics to ensure achievement of business objectives.
- Implement initiatives to improve agent productivity and retention.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines and company policies.
- Collaborate with marketing and operations teams for effective support and engagement.
- Build strong relationships with agents and intermediaries to enhance loyalty and business continuity.

Experience & Skills Required

- Experience:



8–12 years in agency channel management within the insurance industry.
- Technical Skills:
- Expertise in agency recruitment and development.
- Strong understanding of insurance products and distribution strategies.
- Ability to analyze performance data and implement corrective actions.

Qualifications
