Job Title: Production Planning & Control (PPC) Lead / Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced PPC Specialist to optimize manufacturing workflows, scheduling, material allocation, and shop-floor tracking for our lighting product lines. The ideal candidate will bridge sales forecasting, procurement, and factory floor operations to ensure on-time delivery of indoor, outdoor, and smart lighting products while minimizing waste and stockouts.

Key Responsibilities:

- Production Scheduling: Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly Master Production Schedules (MPS) for LED assembly lines, housing fabrications, driver integration, and final testing.
- Material Requirement Planning (MRP): Coordinate with procurement and warehouse teams to ensure timely availability of raw materials (LED chips, PCBs, aluminum extrusions, diffusers, drivers, wiring).
- Capacity & Line Balancing: Analyze plant capacity, machine availability (SMT lines, aging racks, assembly lines), and manpower allocation to remove bottlenecks.
- Inventory Control: Monitor WIP (Work-in-Progress), sub-assemblies,



and finished goods inventory to prevent excess stock and reduce carrying costs.
- Order Fulfillment & Tracking: Track order execution against customer shipment dates (OEM/ODM projects, retail, or B2B commercial tenders) and report production variance.
- Continuous Improvement: Implement Lean, 5S, and Kaizen methodologies on the assembly line to improve throughput and yield.

Qualifications & Experience:

- Education: B.E. / B.Tech / Diploma in Industrial, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.
- Experience: 3–7 years in PPC within electronics manufacturing, lighting, appliances, or consumer durables.
- Skills: Hands-on experience with ERP/MRP software (SAP, Oracle, Tally, MS Dynamics) and advanced MS Excel.
- Solid understanding of LED lighting manufacturing processes (SMT, driver wiring, thermal testing, luminaire assembly).
