Job Summary

We are looking for a Costing & Estimation Executive responsible for preparing accurate project estimates, BOQs, rate analysis, quotations, and cost sheets for commercial interiors, retail stores, furniture, signage, and turnkey fit-out projects.

The candidate should have strong knowledge of construction materials, interior works, manufacturing processes, labour costing, vendor rates, and project estimation.

Key Responsibilities

* Study drawings, BOQs, specifications, RFQs, and project requirements.

* Prepare detailed BOQ and project cost estimates for turnkey interior and retail projects.

* Prepare material, labour, transportation, installation, and subcontractor costing.

* Conduct detailed rate analysis for civil, carpentry, furniture, electrical, ceiling, flooring, painting, glass, signage, HVAC-related works, and other fit-out activities.

* Prepare project-wise cost sheets and commercial quotations.

* Obtain and compare vendor/subcontractor quotations and negotiate rates where required.

* Maintain updated databases of material, labour, vendor, and subcontractor rates.

* Identify scope gaps, exclusions, assumptions, and potential cost risks during estimation.

* Coordinate with the Sales, Design, Purchase, Production, and Project Execution teams for accurate costing.

* Prepare revised estimates based on design changes, client requirements, and site conditions.

* Analyse project profitability and ensure estimates meet the company’s required margins.

* Support the commercial team in tender/RFQ submissions and price negotiations.

* Prepare comparative statements (CS) for vendors and subcontractors.





* Verify quantities from drawings and site measurements wherever required.

* Maintain proper records of quotations, estimates, revisions, and approved rates.

* Assist in project budget vs. actual cost analysis and identify major cost variances.

* Ensure timely submission of estimates and commercial proposals.

Required Skills

* Strong knowledge of interior fit-out and construction costing.

* Valuable understanding of materials such as MDF, plywood, laminates, veneer, acrylic, glass, metal, ACP, paints, hardware, flooring, ceiling systems, etc.

* Knowledge of retail fixtures, furniture, signage, branding, and fabrication costing will be an advantage.

* Strong understanding of BOQ preparation and quantity take-off.

* Excellent Excel skills, including formulas, costing sheets, and comparative statements.

* Ability to read architectural, interior, furniture, and MEP drawings.

* Good vendor and subcontractor rate negotiation skills.

* Strong analytical and numerical ability.

* Attention to detail and accuracy.

* Ability to work under tight deadlines and handle multiple RFQs simultaneously.

Preferred Qualification

Education: Diploma / B.Tech / B.E. in Civil, Interior, Architecture, or relevant technical qualification.

Experience: 3–6 years of relevant experience in interior fit-outs, retail projects, construction, furniture manufacturing, signage, or turnkey contracting.

Preferred Candidate Profile

Candidates from commercial interior fit-out companies, retail execution companies, furniture manufacturers, signage companies, construction contractors, or turnkey project companies will be preferred.

Experience in handling Pan-India retail rollout projects and multiple-store costing will be an added advantage.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹49,000.00 per month
