Social Studies Teacher
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and concept-based Social Studies lessons as per the prescribed curriculum.
- Teach subjects such as History, Geography, Civics, and related areas effectively.
- Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, assignments, and assessments.
- Develop students’ analytical thinking, general awareness, and understanding of social and historical concepts.
- Regularly assess students’ academic progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Maintain a disciplined, positive, and student-friendly classroom workplace.
- Provide individual academic support to students whenever required.
- Participate in examinations, academic activities, parent interactions, and co-curricular activities.
- Contribute to the overall academic and personal development of students.
Eligibility
- Graduate/Postgraduate degree in Social Studies or relevant subjects such as History, Geography, Political Science, or Sociology.
- B.Ed. will be preferred.
- Strong subject knowledge and communication skills.
- Good classroom management and teaching abilities.
- Candidates with relevant teaching experience will be preferred.
- Freshers with a strong passion for teaching are also encouraged to apply.
