Know Your Careers (KYC), partnered with Design Innovation Centre (DIC)-BHU and DIC-IIT(BHU), is a IIT Kanpur-backed startup, recognized by the Ministry of Education's Innovation Cell (MIC), dedicated to bridging the gap between students and career opportunities and developing innovation ecosystems in institutions. We work closely with schools, educators, industry experts, and institutions to make quality career guidance accessible to students across India.

Our Programs

Know Your Careers runs student-focused innovation and entrepreneurship programs including the Young Innovators Launchpad, KYC Idea Tank, and Young Innovators’ Cohort, designed to take students from problem discovery and ideation to prototyping, pitching and venture building. These initiatives are developed in collaboration with the Design Innovation Centre (DIC), IIT (BHU) & BHU, with alignment and support from the Ministry of Education’s Innovation Cell, Government of India.

Job Details

- Senior Business Development Associate (Founder's Office)
- Mode: Remote
- Working Hours: Monday–Saturday | 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Stipend: ₹20,000 per month (plus performance based incentives)
- Performance Incentive: A 2% incentive is awarded after ₹4,00,000 milestone is achieved through registrations (e.g., ₹4 Lakhs: ₹20k base + ₹8k incentive = ₹28k; ₹5 Lakhs: ₹20k base + ₹10k incentive = ₹30k; ₹10 Lakhs: ₹20k base + ₹20k incentive = ₹40k).
- Minimum 2 year experience required

About the Role

As a Senior Business Development Associate (Founder's office),



you'll expand Know Your Careers' network of partner schools by engaging school decision-makers and driving partnerships from outreach to onboarding.

Ideal for individuals who enjoy communication, relationship-building, and working in a quick-paced startup.

Key Responsibilities

- Reach out to schools via calls, emails, WhatsApp, and other channels.
- Present KYC's initiatives, build relationships, and drive partnerships from outreach to onboarding.
- Schedule meetings, conduct follow-ups, and handle stakeholder queries.
- Maintain CRM records and outreach reports.
- Coordinate with internal teams and represent KYC professionally.

Employees are required to adhere to mandatory Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and participate in weekly performance evaluation meetings.

Who Should Apply?

- Have a minimum of 2 years of proven professional experience in B2B sales, business development, partnerships, or the EdTech sector.
- Possess exceptional communication skills in English and Hindi, with a demonstrated ability to engage senior stakeholders and decision-makers.
- Have a strong track record of building and nurturing professional relationships to drive conversions.
- Are proactive, highly organized, and consistently target-driven.
- Possess a laptop, smartphone, and stable internet connection.
