About the Role
We are looking for a motivated Python Developer with 1–2 years of hands-on experience in backend development. The ideal candidate should have strong fundamentals in Python and practical experience with Django, FastAPI, REST APIs, NumPy, and Pandas.
You will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing backend applications and APIs while working closely with the development team.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain backend applications using Python.
- Build and maintain web applications using Django.
- Develop scalable and efficient REST APIs.
- Work with FastAPI for building modern, high-performance APIs.
- Use NumPy and Pandas for data processing and manipulation.
- Integrate APIs with databases and third-party services.
- Write clean, reusable, and maintainable code.
- Debug and resolve application issues and performance bottlenecks.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and application improvements.
- Collaborate with frontend developers and other team members to deliver features.
Required Skills
- 1–2 years of professional experience in Python development.
- Strong knowledge of Python fundamentals, OOP, data structures, and exception handling.
- Hands-on experience with Django.
- Valuable understanding of REST API development and integration.
- Practical experience with FastAPI.
- Working knowledge of NumPy and Pandas.
- Good understanding of HTTP methods, status codes, JSON, and API authentication.
- Basic understanding of SQL/database concepts.
- Familiarity with Git/version control.
- Good problem-solving and debugging skills.
Good to Have
- Experience working with PostgreSQL/MySQL or MongoDB.
- Knowledge of API documentation tools such as Swagger/OpenAPI.
- Understanding of authentication mechanisms such as JWT.
- Basic knowledge of Docker or cloud platforms.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
