About the Role

We are looking for an experienced ERPNext Software Developer with 3–4 years of hands-on experience in ERPNext/Frappe development, customization, implementation, and integration.

The candidate will be responsible for developing, customizing, maintaining, and optimizing ERPNext applications to support business processes across areas such as Finance, HR, Procurement, Inventory, Manufacturing, Projects, Sales, and Operations.

The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of the Frappe Framework, Python, JavaScript, MariaDB/MySQL, and REST APIs, along with the ability to understand business requirements and convert them into scalable ERP solutions.

Key Responsibilities

ERPNext / Frappe Development

- Develop and customize ERPNext applications using the Frappe Framework.
- Create and modify DocTypes, Custom Fields, Workflows, Reports, Print Formats, Scripts, and Web Forms.
- Develop custom applications and modules based on business requirements.
- Customize standard ERPNext functionality without compromising system stability.
- Develop Client Scripts, Server Scripts, Python controllers, and scheduled jobs.
- Implement role-based permissions and access controls.
- Customize forms, dashboards, reports, and user interfaces.

Business Process Implementation

- Understand business processes and translate requirements into ERPNext solutions.
- Work with departments such as Finance, HR, Procurement, Stores, Manufacturing, Projects, and Sales.
- Configure ERPNext modules according to organizational requirements.
- Identify opportunities for process automation and workflow improvements.
- Participate in ERP implementation, testing, deployment, and post-deployment support.

Integration & API Development

- Develop and maintain integrations between ERPNext and external applications.
- Work with REST APIs, JSON, webhooks, and third-party APIs.
- Integrate ERPNext with applications such as HRMS, payment gateways, CRM systems, websites, inventory systems, and other enterprise applications.
- Troubleshoot API and integration-related issues.





Database & Reporting

- Work with MariaDB/MySQL databases.
- Write and optimize SQL queries.
- Develop custom reports and query reports.
- Create dashboards and business reports for management.
- Analyze database performance and resolve data-related issues.

Deployment & Maintenance

- Deploy and maintain ERPNext/Frappe applications on Linux servers.
- Work with Git/GitHub/GitLab for source-code management.
- Perform application upgrades and migrations.
- Troubleshoot application, server, and database issues.
- Monitor system performance, backups, and application availability.
- Maintain proper documentation of customizations and technical changes.

Testing & Support

- Perform unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing.
- Debug and resolve functional and technical issues.
- Provide technical support to ERP users.
- Analyze production issues and implement permanent solutions.
- Work closely with functional consultants and business teams.

Required Technical Skills

- 3–4 years of hands-on experience with ERPNext/Frappe development.
- Strong knowledge of Python.
- Strong understanding of Frappe Framework.
- Good knowledge of JavaScript.
- Experience with HTML, CSS, and web technologies.
- Strong knowledge of MariaDB/MySQL and SQL.
- Experience working with REST APIs and JSON.
- Knowledge of Git and version control.
- Experience with Linux/Ubuntu environments.
- Understanding of ERPNext modules such as:
- Accounting
- Buying / Procurement
- Selling
- Stock / Inventory
- Manufacturing
- Projects
- HR & Payroll
- Assets
- Experience creating custom DocTypes, workflows, scripts, reports, and print formats.

Good to Have

- Experience developing custom Frappe applications.
- Experience with ERPNext implementation and migration.
- Experience integrating ERPNext with external systems.
- Knowledge of Redis, Nginx,



Supervisor, and background workers.
- Experience with Docker or containerized deployments.
- Knowledge of CI/CD practices.
- Experience with cloud or on-premise ERPNext deployments.
- Understanding of accounting, procurement, inventory, manufacturing, or project management processes.
- Experience working with ERPNext upgrades and resolving compatibility issues.
- Knowledge of frontend frameworks such as React or Vue.js is an advantage.

Education

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Equivalent practical experience with ERPNext/Frappe development will also be considered.

Preferred Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate is someone who is not only a developer, but also understands how ERP systems support real-world business operations.

Experience in procurement, inventory management, manufacturing, project management, HRMS, finance, or supply-chain workflows will be highly valuable.

Experience with ERPNext implementation in a manufacturing, engineering, defense, aerospace, or technology organization will be an added advantage.
