# Solutions Testing Engineer

## Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced **Solutions Testing Engineer** to validate our SaaS-based **Quantum Security Posture Management (QSPM)** platform in realistic, customer-representative network environments.

This role focuses on **end-to-end solution validation rather than traditional product QA**. The engineer will simulate real-world customer network topologies, security policies, workflows, and deployment scenarios to ensure the platform delivers accurate, reliable, and deployable results before and after customer implementation.

The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in **networking, network security, customer-facing solution validation, POCs/pilots, and scenario-based testing**.

## Key Responsibilities

* Build and manage realistic customer-like network environments involving:

* Layer 2/Layer 3 networks

* Routers and switches

* Firewalls

* VLANs and routing

* Cloud VPC/VNet environments

* Hybrid network architectures

* Perform **end-to-end solution validation** covering:

* Customer onboarding

* Network discovery and data import

* Security posture assessment

* Policy validation

* Remediation recommendations

* Reporting and customer workflows

* Reproduce and troubleshoot **customer-reported issues** in lab or POC environments.

* Support **Sales Engineering, Customer Success, Support, and Product teams** with technical validation and troubleshooting.

* Design realistic test scenarios based on:

* Customer use cases

* CIS Benchmarks

* NIST frameworks

* Common security and compliance requirements

* Validate the platform across different:

* Network sizes and scales

* Network vendors

* Security configurations

* Hybrid and cloud environments





* Identify gaps between platform behavior and real-world customer requirements and provide **clear, actionable feedback** to Product and Engineering teams.

* Support **pre-sales POCs, customer pilots, demos, and onboarding activities**.

* Build and maintain demo/POC environments for technical validation.

* Document:

* Validated solution scenarios

* Reference architectures

* Test results

* Known limitations

* Customer deployment scenarios

* Troubleshoot technical issues encountered during POCs and customer deployments.

* Stay updated on evolving **network security architectures, customer environments, competitive security solutions, and industry practices**.

## Required Qualifications

* **10+ years of overall IT/networking experience**.

* Strong hands-on expertise in **Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking**, including:

* VLANs

* Routing protocols

* ACLs

* NAT

* Firewalls

* Firewall rule design

* Network segmentation

* Strong understanding of **network security concepts**, including:

* Security policy enforcement

* Network segmentation

* Common network misconfigurations

* Attack surface risks

* Security posture management

* Experience working with **multiple network vendors**.

* Proven experience testing or validating solutions in **customer-like environments**, including:

* POCs

* Pilots

* Customer deployments

* Professional Services

* Solutions Engineering

* Sales Engineering

* Strong experience with **scenario-based and end-to-end testing**, with the ability to evaluate solutions from an actual customer's perspective.

* Ability to build, configure,



and manage **physical or virtual network lab environments** representing real-world customer topologies.

* Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

* Ability to work effectively with **Sales, Customer Success, Support, Product, and Engineering teams**.

## Preferred Qualifications

* Certifications such as:

* **CCNP**

* **Security+**

* **CEH**

* Equivalent networking/security certifications

* Prior experience in:

* Solutions Engineering

* Sales Engineering

* Professional Services

* Network Security Consulting

* Experience with cloud networking:

* AWS VPC

* Azure VNet

* GCP VPC

* Experience with hybrid cloud/network environments.

* Scripting or automation experience using:

* **Python**

* **Bash**

* Experience with:

* Attack Surface Management (ASM)

* CSPM

* Vulnerability Management

* Security Posture Management platforms

## Key Success Criteria

* Customer POCs and pilots are validated successfully with minimal issues during production rollout.

* Customer environments and deployment scenarios are accurately reproduced for testing.

* Product and Engineering teams receive clear, actionable feedback based on real-world customer scenarios.

* Sales and Customer Success teams can rely on validated environments and technical findings for POCs, demos, and deployments.

## Candidate Profile – Must Have
