Job Overview

We are looking for hands-on, quality-conscious Mechanical Fitters with 1 to 5 years of experience in sheet-metal enclosure assembly and structural fitting for electrical control panel manufacturing (PCC, MCC, LT/HT switchgear, automation kiosks). The candidate must be skilled at reading mechanical GA (General Arrangement) drawings, assembling frame structures, aligning doors, mounting base plates, and busbar preparation.

Key Responsibilities

- Assemble sheet metal panels, modular frame structures (cubicles), gland plates, partitions, and mounting plates according to mechanical GA drawings.
- Ensure door alignment, latch fitting, multi-point lock installation, hinge fixing, and proper fit of neoprene/foam rubber gaskets for IP protection ratings.
- Measure, cut, bend, punch,



and mount copper/aluminum busbars and DIN rails accurately.
- Perform drilling, tapping, reaming, cutting, and grinding using hand/power tools without damaging powder-coated surfaces.
- Assist sheet metal fabricators and prepare the raw enclosure structure for internal electrical component mounting.
- Maintain dimensional tolerances, squareness, and shop-floor safety protocols.

Required Qualifications & Skills

- Education: ITI in Fitter / Welder / Sheet Metal Trade or equivalent hands-on experience.
- Experience: 1 to 5 years in an electrical panel manufacturing or industrial sheet-metal fabrication unit.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficient with workshop measuring instruments: Vernier calipers, measuring tapes
- Familiarity with hardware specifications: metric bolt grades, cage nuts, stud welding/riveting, and torque settings.
- Experience handling power tools: magnetic core drills, hand drills, angle grinders, pneumatic tools, and busbar cutting/bending machines.

Pay: ₹9,200.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
