We are looking passionate full time Sociology faculty who can take complete ownership of Sociology Optional teaching, student mentoring, answer writing and academic content development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach Sociology Optional for UPSC CSE Mains covering Paper I & Paper II.
- Conduct regular classroom lectures, answer-writing sessions and doubt-solving sessions.
- Guide students in PYQ analysis, answer writing and Mains-oriented preparation.
- Develop/update study material, notes, questions and model answers.
- Mentor students and track their academic progress.
- Integrate contemporary examples and current affairs with Sociology concepts.
Eligibility & Requirements:
- Post-Graduation/Master’s degree in Sociology preferred.
- Candidates who have appeared for UPSC CSE Mains with Sociology Optional will be preferred.
- PhD in Sociology is preferred.
- Prior experience in teaching Sociology Optional for UPSC will be an advantage.
- Strong conceptual understanding of Sociological Thinkers, Theory and Indian Society.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in English.
- Strong understanding of the UPSC Mains examination pattern and answer-writing requirements.
