Are you a detail-oriented accounting professional looking to grow your career? We’re looking for a Junior Accountant with 1-2 years of hands-on experience to join our team in Zirakpur.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of daily financial transactions.
- Record and verify sales, purchases, expenses, receipts, payments, and journal entries.
- Prepare and maintain invoices, vouchers, bills, and supporting financial documentation.
- Assist in managing Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
- Perform regular bank, cash, and ledger reconciliations.
- Assist with GST-related records, documentation, and routine compliance activities.
- Monitor outstanding receivables and payables and maintain proper records.
- Assist in monthly accounting closing and preparation of financial reports.
- Maintain organized documentation for audits and internal financial reviews.
- Coordinate with internal departments regarding invoices, expenses, payments, and supporting documents.
- Identify discrepancies in financial records and report them to the senior finance team.
- Provide general accounting and administrative support to the finance department as required
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com) or a related field.
- 1–2 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Good knowledge of basic accounting principles.
- Familiarity with Tally/ERP and MS Excel.
- Basic understanding of GST and taxation.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Valuable organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
