Reel Video Editor

Role

Edit short-form and social video that stops the scroll. Turn raw footage into polished reels, shorts and clips for Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, LinkedIn and X, with the pacing, sound and style each platform and brand calls for.

Responsibilities

- Edit vertical and horizontal videos, including Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, Facebook Reels, LinkedIn video and X clips.
- Cut raw footage into tight, engaging stories with strong hooks, pacing, transitions and cuts.
- Add captions and subtitles, music, sound effects, voiceovers, colour correction and audio clean-up.
- Create motion graphics, text animations, lower thirds, intros and outros that follow brand guidelines.
- Adapt one piece of content into multiple cuts and aspect ratios for different platforms.
- Follow trends, formats and audio on each platform, and suggest fresh ideas to the content team.
- Create thumbnails and cover frames that lift views and clicks.
- Organise project files, footage and exports; archive finished work in the content library.
- Check that music, footage and graphics are properly licensed before publishing.

- Deliver edits on time, with a typical reel turned around within the agreed deadline.
- Maintain consistent, high-quality output that matches brand style.
- Improve view duration, shares and engagement over time, reported as trends.
- Accept feedback and complete revisions quickly.
- Keep up with platform updates, editing tools and creative trends.

Requirements

- Diploma or degree in Film, Media, Design or a related field, or an equivalent portfolio.
- 2 to 4 years editing social or short-form video, with a portfolio of reels or shorts.
- Strong skills in Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve or CapCut.
- Good sense of storytelling, rhythm and visual design; basic shooting and lighting knowledge is a plus.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
