Responsible for preparation of 2D/3D drawings, detailing, and revisions for heat exchangers and pressure vessels, ensuring accuracy, manufacturability, and compliance with design inputs and applicable standards.
⚙ Key Responsibilities
1. Drawing Preparation
- Prepare detailed drawings such as:
- General Arrangement (GA) drawings
- Fabrication drawings
- Nozzle orientation drawings
- Tube layout and baffle details
- Work using:
- AutoCAD
- SolidWorks / Inventor
2. Detailing & BOM Preparation
- Prepare detailed part drawings with:
- Dimensions and tolerances
- Welding details
- Bill of Materials (BOM)
- Ensure all details are aligned with design calculations and project specifications
3. Drawing Checking Support
- Assist Design Engineer in:
- Checking GA and fabrication drawings
- Verifying dimensions, nozzle locations, and BOM
- Ensure drawings are:
- Error-free before release
- Consistent with client-approved GA
4. Revision & Documentation Control
- Update drawings based on:
- Client comments
- Internal design changes
- Maintain revision history and proper document control

Standards & Compliance Awareness
- Prepare drawings in line with:
- ASME guidelines
- TEMA (basic awareness)
- Ensure drawing formats and notes meet ASME U Stamp documentation requirements
6. Coordination with Departments
- Coordinate with:
- Design team for inputs and clarifications
- Production/shop floor for fabrication feasibility
- Resolve shop queries related to drawings
