To support consultants in delivering efficient patient care by managing EMR documentation, prescription typing, vitals, patient navigation, doctor-advised service coordination and conversion tracking, thereby improving doctor productivity, patient experience and hospital revenue.

Key Responsibilities

1. Consultant & Clinical Support

· Assist consultants during OPD consultations.

· Check and record patient vitals accurately.

· Prepare and update EMR and prescriptions as per the doctor's instructions.

· Ensure accurate and complete documentation with minimum errors.

· Retrieve reports/records required by the consultant.

· Ensure smooth patient flow within the consultation room.

2. Patient Navigation & Advice Implementation

· Explain the doctor's advice to patients in a explicit, polite and reassuring manner.

· Guide patients for:

o Pharmacy

o Laboratory investigations

o Radiology

o Procedures

o IP admission

o Medical management/follow-up

· Coordinate with relevant departments to ensure the advised service is completed.





· Escalate clinical queries to the consultant and operational issues to the concerned team.

3. Conversion & Follow-up

· Capture and track all doctor-advised services.

· Monitor Advice → Billing/Completion conversion.

· Follow up on pending/unconverted investigations, procedures, admissions and pharmacy services.

· Record reasons for non-conversion.

· Maintain daily/weekly conversion reports.

4. Patient Experience

· Ensure patients understand their next steps before leaving the OPD.

· Provide personalised assistance to elderly, anxious or special-needs patients.

· Minimise patient waiting and effort through proactive coordination.

5. Future Responsibility – Discharge Summaries

· Each PA may be assigned to a particular OPD room.

· The room may have consultants from multiple specialties.

· The PA should therefore be capable of supporting different specialties.

· Prepare and coordinate discharge summaries for patients admitted by the consultants assigned to the room, ensuring accuracy and defined TAT.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
