About the Role

Amartex Industries Ltd. is looking for an energetic and result-oriented FMCG Incharge to manage the day-to-day operations of the FMCG department. The candidate will be responsible for inventory control, customer service, staff coordination, shrinkage control and achievement of sales and operational targets.

The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of FMCG retail operations and the ability to manage stock, team performance and customer requirements effectively.

Key Responsibilities
FMCG Department Operations

- Manage the day-to-day operations of the FMCG department.
- Ensure proper availability, display and replenishment of FMCG products.
- Maintain high standards of product presentation and store operations.
- Ensure compliance with company SOPs and operational guidelines.

Sales & Target Achievement

- Drive sales and department targets and ensure achievement of assigned KPIs.
- Monitor daily, weekly and monthly sales performance.
- Identify opportunities to improve sales and product movement.
- Ensure effective execution of promotional schemes and offers.

Offers & Promotions

- Execute and monitor Executive Offers, DBT, RBT and ATS as per company guidelines.
- Ensure promotional products and offers are properly displayed and communicated to customers.
- Track the performance of promotional activities.

Inventory Control

- Monitor stock availability,



stock movement and replenishment.
- Maintain accurate inventory and minimize stock-outs and excess inventory.
- Coordinate with stores/warehouse teams for timely stock replenishment.
- Monitor stock ageing and slow-moving products.

FIFO & Near-Expiry Control

- Ensure strict implementation of FIFO (First In, First Out).
- Regularly check products for near expiry and expired stock.
- Take timely corrective action to minimize expiry-related losses.
- Ensure proper segregation and reporting of near-expiry/expired products.

Shrinkage Control

- Monitor and control inventory shrinkage, damages, pilferage and stock losses.
- Identify reasons for stock variance and take corrective measures.
- Maintain proper stock handling and control procedures.

Customer Service

- Ensure excellent customer service within the FMCG department.
- Handle customer queries and complaints professionally.
- Assist customers with product availability, offers and promotions.
- Focus on improving customer satisfaction and shopping experience.

Staff Coordination

- Coordinate and allocate daily responsibilities to department staff.
- Monitor staff productivity, discipline and performance.
- Guide and motivate team members to achieve department targets.
- Ensure adequate manpower coverage during peak hours.

KPI & Reporting

- Monitor key FMCG Retail KPIs and department performance.
- Track sales, stock availability, shrinkage, expiry and staff productivity.
- Prepare and maintain daily/weekly/monthly reports as required.
- Take corrective action based on KPI performance.

Pay: ₹22,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per hour
