looking for a Senior Integration Engineer to design, develop, and own reliable integration services that connect our platform with third-party systems.

You will work across Java, Python, microservices, messaging, AWS, security, and observability to build integration services that are secure, scalable, and resilient under real-world workloads.

This role is ideal for a senior backend engineer who has hands-on experience designing production-grade microservices and enjoys solving complex integration and distributed-system challenges.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and develop integration microservices using Java 17+ / Spring Boot 3 and Python / FastAPI.
- Design reliable microservice architectures using patterns such as Circuit Breaker, Retry, Saga, Transactional Outbox, CQRS, and idempotency.
- Build synchronous and asynchronous integrations using REST, gRPC, RabbitMQ, AWS SQS/SNS, and webhooks.
- Define and maintain API contracts using OpenAPI and AsyncAPI.
- Develop secure services using Spring Security 6, OAuth2, JWT, OIDC, and appropriate API security practices.
- Build asynchronous Python services using FastAPI, asyncio, httpx, Pydantic, and messaging libraries.
- Develop scalable message producers and consumers with retry, dead-letter, and idempotency mechanisms.
- Containerize applications using Docker and deploy services on AWS using technologies such as ECS/EKS, Lambda, API Gateway, ECR, RDS, and S3.
- Implement observability using ELK, Kibana, Elasticsearch, Logstash, and Zipkin for centralized logging and distributed tracing.
- Own CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Bitbucket, including automated testing, quality checks, deployment, and rollback.
- Write and maintain automated tests using JUnit 5, Mockito, Testcontainers, pytest, and contract testing where applicable.




- Participate in architecture discussions and create design documents and Architecture Decision Records (ADRs).
- Conduct code reviews and mentor junior engineers.
- Troubleshoot production and lower-environment integration issues and identify root causes.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure integrations are reliable, secure, maintainable, and scalable.

Required Skills

- 4–6 years of professional software development experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with Java 17+.
- Strong expertise in Spring Boot 3 / Spring Cloud.
- Experience building and designing microservices in production environments.
- Strong hands-on experience with Python and FastAPI.
- Good understanding of asynchronous programming using asyncio, async/await, httpx, and Pydantic.
- Strong understanding of microservice design patterns such as Saga, Circuit Breaker, Retry, Transactional Outbox, and Idempotency.
- Hands-on experience with RabbitMQ or AWS SQS/SNS.
- Strong understanding of REST APIs and experience with gRPC is an advantage.
- Hands-on experience with AWS services, preferably ECS/EKS, Lambda, API Gateway, SQS/SNS, RDS, S3, IAM, and ECR.
- Strong knowledge of Docker and practical experience with Kubernetes/EKS.
- Hands-on experience with Spring Security, OAuth2, JWT, and API security.
- Experience with centralized logging and distributed tracing using ELK and Zipkin or equivalent tools.
- Experience with Jenkins and Bitbucket CI/CD workflows.




- Strong knowledge of automated testing using JUnit, Mockito, pytest, or similar tools.
