AngularJS, Angular, Blazor, etc.

 Solid experience with SQL Server, including writing complex queries,

optimisation, and database design.

 Experience in building unit tests using NUnit or Visual Studio test

frameworks.

 Proficient in Entity Framework for data access, modelling, and migrations.

 Strong understanding of backend architecture, serviceoriented design, and

application lifecycle management.

 Experience integrating front-end components with backend services.

 Proven experience and a demonstrable ability to effectively use GitHub

Copilot in a career development environment – including understanding

of its strengths and limitations.

 Ability to build clean, modular, and reusable UI components following

best practices.

 Solid grasp of browser developer tools and front-end debugging

techniques.

 Familiarity with secure coding practices, error handling, logging, and

monitoring.

 Ability to work effectively within Agile/Scrum teams and collaborate with





crossfunctional stakeholders.

Essential Responsibilities

 Design, develop, and maintain backend services and components using C#

and .NET Framework and Core.

 Implement high-performance, scalable data access layers using Entity

Framework and SQL Server.

 Developer unit tests alongside code to ensure low bug count.

 Optimise database queries, indexes, and overall system performance.

 Utilize GitHub Copilot to accelerate development, generate code

suggestions, and improve code quality. Actively explore and experiment with

Copilot's capabilities.

 Collaborate with front-end, and architecture teams to deliver integrated

solutions.

 Ensure code quality through testing, peer reviews, and adherence to

development standards.

 Diagnose and resolve back-end and front-end issues across services,

databases, and integrations.
