Freelance AR/VR Research Consultant

Role Overview

We are looking for an AR/VR Research Consultant to support research and technical projects involving augmented reality, immersive technologies, computer vision, 3D environments, and human-computer interaction.

Key Responsibilities

- Support research projects involving Augmented Reality and immersive technologies.
- Review AR system architecture, tracking methodologies, spatial mapping, rendering, and interaction techniques.
- Conduct literature reviews and identify research gaps in AR/VR applications.
- Review experimental design, usability studies, system evaluation, and performance metrics.
- Support projects involving computer vision, image processing, 3D modelling, object recognition, and spatial computing.
- Review technical manuscripts for accuracy and consistency.
- Support development of figures, system architectures, workflows, and technical explanations.




- Assist with manuscript revisions and responses to reviewer/client comments.

Required Educational Background

- Master's or PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, AR/VR, Human-Computer Interaction, Robotics, or related discipline.

Required Experience

- Minimum 2 years of relevant AR/VR research, development, or academic project experience.
- Publication/research experience is preferred.

Required Technical Skills

- Augmented Reality / Virtual Reality.
- Computer vision and image processing.
- 3D modelling and spatial computing.
- Unity, Unreal Engine, ARCore, ARKit, or equivalent technologies are preferred.
- Scientific and technical writing.
