Job Summary

New Green Field School, Saket, is looking for a responsible and experienced Chemistry Lab Assistant to support the smooth functioning of the Chemistry laboratory and assist teachers and students during practical sessions.

Candidates with prior school laboratory experience are preferred.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare the Chemistry laboratory for practical classes, experiments, and examinations.
- Assist Chemistry teachers during practical sessions.
- Set up and arrange laboratory equipment, chemicals, glassware, and other materials.
- Maintain proper inventory and records of chemicals, equipment, and laboratory supplies.
- Ensure safe handling, storage, labelling, and disposal of chemicals.
- Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards in the laboratory.
- Regularly check laboratory equipment and report damaged or faulty items.
- Ensure students follow laboratory safety procedures during practical sessions.




- Maintain laboratory registers and other required documentation.
- Coordinate with Chemistry teachers regarding practical requirements.
- Support the school in maintaining a safe, organised, and well-equipped laboratory.

Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree/diploma in Chemistry or a related field preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
- School laboratory experience preferred.
- Valuable knowledge of Chemistry laboratory equipment, chemicals, and basic laboratory procedures.
- Strong understanding of laboratory safety and chemical handling.
- Good organisational and record-keeping skills.
- Responsible, attentive to detail, and able to work independently.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Candidates based in Delhi will be preferred.
