Job Responsibilities

- Handle Accounts Receivable (AR) calling for hospital/healthcare accounts.
- Contact insurance companies, patients, and healthcare providers regarding outstanding medical claims.
- Follow up on pending claims and ensure timely reimbursement.
- Identify and resolve claim/payment issues.
- Handle denied claims, appeals, and claim corrections.
- Interpret EOB / ERA and understand CARC / RARC codes.
- Follow payer guidelines and reimbursement procedures.
- Work with UB-04 and hospital billing documentation.
- Understand OPD/IPD billing workflows and healthcare RCM processes.
- Basic knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT coding.
- Handle high-volume voice calls with insurance payers.
- Maintain accurate follow-up records and claim status updates.

Required Skills





- Minimum 1+ year of AR Hospital Calling experience in Healthcare RCM.
- Strong knowledge of Hospital Billing / Accounts Receivable.
- Good understanding of insurance claims, denials, appeals, and reimbursement.
- Knowledge of CARC, RARC, EOB, ERA and UB-04.
- Familiarity with HIS, ERP or hospital billing software such as Epic/Cerner.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Comfortable working in rotational shifts.
- Ability to manage high call volumes.
