Job Description – Centre Coordinator
Project: Saksham Saathi – LGBTQIA++ Skilling & Livelihood Empowerment Programme
Location: Gurugram, Haryana
Position: Centre Coordinator
Reporting To: Project Manager
Role Purpose
The Centre Coordinator will manage the day-to-day operations of the project training centre and coordinate training schedules, participants, trainers, records, materials and administrative activities.
The project is designed around one dedicated training centre with four daily training slots, making centre-level coordination important for smooth implementation.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily operations of the training centre.
- Ensure classrooms and practical training areas are ready before sessions.
- Coordinate the timetable for all four batches.
- Coordinate trainers, assistant trainers, guest experts and other session facilitators.
- Maintain attendance registers, batch records, training calendars and trainer logs.
- Coordinate availability of training equipment, products, consumables and practical materials.
- Ensure hygiene, sanitation, privacy and secure storage arrangements at the centre.
- Monitor participant attendance and coordinate follow-up with the Community Mobilizer.
- Maintain participant files, assessment records and training documentation.
- Support MIS data compilation and monthly reporting.
- Coordinate orientation sessions, assessments, certifications, exposure visits and project events.
- Support placement interviews,
employer interactions and entrepreneurship activities.
- Maintain grievance information, code of conduct and emergency contacts at the centre.
- Ensure confidentiality and secure storage of participant records.
- Report operational, infrastructure, safety or safeguarding issues to the Project Manager.
- Support endline documentation, case studies, asset records and project closure activities.
Key Deliverables / KPIs
- Smooth functioning of the training centre.
- All four batch schedules coordinated without disruption.
- Updated attendance and training records.
- Training equipment and consumables available as required.
- Participant issues followed up promptly.
- MIS and centre documentation submitted on time.
- Safe, inclusive and confidential centre environment maintained.
Recommended Qualification & Experience
- Graduate in Social Work, Management, Administration, Education or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in training-centre management, project coordination, skill development or programme administration.
- Experience in MIS, documentation and participant coordination preferred.
Required Skills
Centre administration, scheduling, documentation, Excel/MIS, communication, team coordination, problem solving, inventory/material management and sensitivity toward LGBTQIA++ inclusion.
Pay: ₹32,000.00 - ₹38,000.00 per month
