ob Description – Production Planning & Control (PPC)

Department: Production / Planning
Experience: 2–5 Years
Qualification: Diploma / BE / B.Tech – Mechanical / Production or related field
Industry: Manufacturing / Fabrication

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare daily, weekly and monthly production plans.
- Monitor production schedules and ensure timely completion of jobs.
- Coordinate with Design, Purchase, Stores, Production, Quality and Dispatch teams.
- Check material availability as per BOQ and production requirements.
- Track pending jobs, production progress and delivery schedules.
- Plan manpower, machines and production capacity.
- Maintain production reports, job trackers and MIS.
- Identify delays, bottlenecks and material shortages and take corrective action.
- Ensure production follows approved drawings, BOQ and quality standards.

Required Skills:

- Valuable knowledge of Production Planning & Control.
- Manufacturing/Fabrication process knowledge.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel.
- Ability to read drawings and BOQ.
- Strong coordination, follow-up and analytical skills.
- ERP/MRP knowledge will be an advantage.
