Role Description The Environment, Health and Safety Manager (Data Centre and Construction) is a full-time, on-site role based in Gujarat, India. This role is responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring EHS policies and procedures across data centre and construction projects, ensuring compliance with local regulations and global best practices. Day-to-day activities include conducting site inspections and risk assessments, leading accident and incident investigations, and coordinating corrective and preventive actions. The EHS Manager will design and deliver training programs for employees and contractors, oversee safety documentation and reporting, and collaborate with project managers, client representatives, and regulatory authorities to promote a strong safety culture. The role also involves continuous improvement of EHS performance, participation in audits, and support for certification and licensing requirements relevant to project operations.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess robust Environment Health and Safety (EHS) and Health & Safety expertise, with practical experience in data centre and construction environments.
- Candidates should possess skills in Occupational Health and Accident Investigation to identify root causes,



manage incident reports, and implement preventive measures.
- Candidates should possess Training abilities to design and deliver EHS programs, toolbox talks, and awareness sessions for diverse site teams.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of relevant safety regulations, standards, and best practices applicable in India, particularly for construction and critical infrastructure projects.
- Candidates should possess strong analytical, documentation, and reporting skills, with attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate safety records.
- Candidates should possess effective communication and stakeholder management skills to collaborate with internal teams, clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies.
- A bachelor’s degree in engineering, environmental science, occupational health and safety, or a related field is preferred; professional certifications in EHS or safety management are an advantage.
- Prior experience in EHS management for large-scale construction or data centre projects in India is highly beneficial.

Pay: ₹1,500,000.00 - ₹2,000,000.00 per year
