Hiring: Quality Manager – Precision Machining & Cold Forging

Experience: 8–15 Years

We are looking for someone who understands the manufacturing process deeply, can identify potential risks before defects occur, and can build robust prevention-oriented quality systems rather than relying only on inspection.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead the overall Quality function covering Incoming, In-Process, Final and Customer Quality.
- Develop and drive a strong Zero Defect / Prevention-oriented Quality culture.
- Understand and analyze Precision CNC Machining and Cold Forging processes.
- Identify potential process failures using PFMEA, Control Plans, SPC and Process Capability.
- Drive Cpk improvement, Poka-Yoke and process-control initiatives.
- Lead customer complaints, 8D, Root Cause Analysis and permanent corrective actions.
- Monitor and reduce Customer PPM, Internal Rejection, Rework and COPQ.
- Work closely with Production, Engineering, Tool Room and Suppliers to eliminate recurring defects.
- Drive supplier quality improvement for raw materials, forgings and bought-out components.
- Lead APQP, PPAP, MSA, SPC and customer audit requirements.




- Ensure effective use of CMM, gauges, measuring systems and inspection methods.

Technical Expertise Required

Strong knowledge of:

- Precision CNC Turning / Machining
- CNC Swiss / Automatic Machines – preferred
- Threading, Tapping, Drilling & Reaming
- GD&T; and dimensional control
- Surface finish and geometric tolerances
- Cp / Cpk – Process Capability
- SPC, MSA, PFMEA & Control Plans
- Root Cause Analysis & 8D
- Poka-Yoke / Error Proofing

Cold Forging Knowledge – Highly Preferred

Candidates with practical knowledge of Cold Forging processes will be preferred, particularly in:

- Material flow
- Die & punch-related defects
- Cracks, laps and folds
- Tool wear
- Lubrication
- Raw material quality
- Process parameters and dimensional variation

Qualification

BE / B.Tech / Diploma – Mechanical / Production / Quality Engineering

Experience

- 8–15 years of relevant manufacturing quality experience
- Automotive / Precision Engineering experience preferred
- IATF 16949 / VDA 6.3 exposure will be an advantage

Pay: ₹800,000.00 - ₹1,000,000.00 per year
