We are looking for a creative, detail-oriented, and highly organized Interior Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of design, materials, spatial planning, colour, lighting, furniture, and finishes, with the ability to translate a creative vision into beautifully executed spaces.

The Interior Designer will be involved throughout the design process — from understanding the client’s requirements and developing concepts to preparing drawings, selecting materials, coordinating with vendors and contractors, and overseeing execution.

The role requires a balance of creativity, technical knowledge, project management, and client interaction.

Key Responsibilities1. Concept & Design Development

- Understand client requirements, lifestyle, preferences, budget, and functional needs.
- Develop interior concepts, design directions, mood boards, and material palettes.
- Create cohesive design schemes covering furniture, finishes, colours, lighting, accessories, and décor.
- Develop creative and practical solutions for residential, commercial, hospitality, or retail spaces.
- Ensure that designs are aligned with the overall aesthetic and vision of the studio/brand.
- Research current and emerging trends in interiors, architecture, furniture, materials, and design.

2. Space Planning & Design

- Prepare detailed space plans and furniture layouts.
- Develop concepts for kitchens, bedrooms, living spaces, offices, retail environments, and other areas as required.
- Consider functionality, circulation, ergonomics, proportion, scale, and aesthetics.
- Select appropriate furniture, fixtures, lighting, fabrics, finishes, hardware, and accessories.
- Develop custom furniture and design elements in collaboration with craftsmen and vendors.

3. Drawings & Documentation

- Prepare and review design drawings, layouts, elevations, sections, and detailed drawings.
- Prepare material specifications and schedules.
- Create presentations and design proposals for clients.
- Coordinate with architects, contractors, consultants,



and other technical teams.
- Ensure that drawings and specifications are accurate and updated throughout the project.
- Maintain organized project documentation.

4. Materials & Vendor Coordination

- Research and source furniture, fabrics, finishes, lighting, sanitaryware, hardware, décor, artwork, and accessories.
- Develop relationships with suppliers, manufacturers, artisans, contractors, and craftsmen.
- Obtain quotations, compare options, and assist with procurement decisions.
- Coordinate samples and mock-ups for client approval.
- Monitor the quality and suitability of materials before installation.

5. Project Execution

- Coordinate with contractors and vendors during the execution phase.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and ensure design intent is being followed.
- Identify and resolve design, material, and execution-related issues.
- Coordinate measurements and site conditions with design drawings.
- Ensure that work is completed according to approved designs, specifications, quality standards, and timelines.
- Conduct site inspections and maintain snag lists where required.
- Coordinate the final styling, installation, and handover of projects.

6. Client Management

- Present design concepts and proposals to clients.
- Communicate design decisions clearly and confidently.
- Incorporate client feedback while maintaining the integrity of the overall design vision.
- Keep clients informed about project progress, selections, timelines, and key decisions.
- Build solid and professional client relationships.
- Handle client concerns and coordinate solutions in a timely manner.

7. Budget & Project Management

- Work within approved project budgets and timelines.
- Assist in preparing estimates and project budgets.
- Track material selections, quotations, purchases, and project expenses.
- Coordinate procurement schedules and delivery timelines.
- Identify potential cost overruns or delays and communicate them proactively.
