Overview
The Windows Experiences organization is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to help shape the future of Widgets on Windows. You will build engaging, reliable, and personalized experiences that help customers stay informed, productive, and connected.
The Widgets area spans Windows shell experiences, application and platform components, web technologies, and cloud-powered services. In this role, you will lead the design and implementation of end-to-end capabilities across these layers. You will work closely with engineering, product management, design, data science, and partner teams to translate customer needs into scalable solutions.
This chance is suited to an engineer who enjoys solving complex technical problems, improving product quality at scale, and providing technical leadership across team boundaries. You will influence architecture and engineering practices while mentoring other engineers and contributing directly to the codebase.

Responsibilities
• Innovate and build new Widgets experiences that help customers discover personalized, relevant, and timely information across Windows surfaces.
• Lead the architecture, design, implementation, and delivery of end-to-end capabilities spanning Windows shell components, application packages, web experiences, platform APIs, and cloud-connected services.
• Partner with product management, design, data science, and partner engineering teams to identify customer opportunities, develop prototypes, evaluate technical tradeoffs, and turn promising ideas into scalable product experiences.
• Establish experimentation and measurement
