Roles and Responsibilities

AERB Requirements:

Radiological safety officer will play a pivotal role in ensuring that the company's medical devices and processes meet AERB regulatory requirements, thus safeguarding patient safety, compliance to regulatory requirements and facilitating market access.

EHS responsibilities
• Element owner for EHS Element # 23- Radiation Protection.



Implementation and drive the EHS element and various Radiation Safety initiatives being implemented by GEHC
• Responsible for annual Review and update of GEHC Radiation Safety Program.
• Strictly monitor Personal Radiation dose of all Radiation workers, monitor TLD distribution process and ensure Radiation Medical Surveillance program is driven with 100% compliance.
• Ensure on-time completion of Radiation Safety trainings as per AERB and GEHC requirements by Field engineers
• Send periodic communications related to Radiation Safety to all employees/field team in the organisation
• Periodic review of EHS inspections related to Radiation, conduct periodic site audits and advise the field team about improving Radiation Safety
• Maintain required licenses, permits, registrations and authorizations as per AERB requirements and In accordance with GEHC Compliance Assurance Standard, perform line-by-line reviews of obligations, tasks, and conditions. Include commitments made in
