Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Volunteer role based in Hyderabad. Volunteers will support day-to-day operations, which may include assisting with documentation, data collection, and basic research related to underwater robotics and maritime infrastructure. The role may also involve coordinating with team members to organize outreach initiatives, events, and educational activities that promote Hydrophenia’s mission. Volunteers will help maintain organized records, contribute to process improvements, and provide general support to engineering, operations, or community engagement efforts as needed. This position is ideal for individuals who want hands-on experience in a mission-driven, technology-focused environment while contributing to safer and more sustainable ocean operations.
Qualifications
• Ability to conduct basic research, organize information,
and prepare clear documentation.
• Solid written and verbal communication skills for internal coordination and external outreach.
• Comfort working collaboratively in on-site team settings and supporting cross-functional projects.
• Interest in marine technology, robotics, safety-focused innovation, or maritime industry operations.
• Self-motivated, reliable, and able to manage time effectively in a structured full-time role.
• Willingness to learn new tools and processes; familiarity with standard office software is beneficial.
• Relevant academic background or ongoing studies in engineering, science, maritime studies, or related fields are a plus.
