What you will own

• Extend the pagination and Bates architecture to handle current export targets and page geometries
• Design the index generation model so tier structure, page ranges and citations stay consistent by construction
• Build regression suites against reference binders exceeding 1,400 pages
• Work directly with the evidentiary research team to translate criteria packs into assembly rules

What we are looking for

• 6+ years building document processing or structured-data systems in production
• Deep familiarity with PDF internals — pagination, bookmarks, annotations, linearisation
• A demonstrable bias toward deterministic implementations over probabilistic ones where correctness matters
• Comfort reading regulatory text and turning it into precise rules

Nice to have

• Experience in legal technology, e-discovery or regulated document workflows
• Familiarity with OCR pipelines and multilingual document handling
