• Characterizes, benchmarks, and defines requirements for design, development of proof-of-concept prototypes,



and testing of various components and technologies.
• Characterizes size, performance, efficiency, cost, and requirements for various components and technologies used for DER and power distribution in microgrid, EV charging, and data center applications.
• Develops and maintains documentation on component specifications, selection analysis, requirements, and simulation analysis.
• Works closely with systems simulation and FEA/CFD engineers to communicate requirements, performance targets, and boundary conditions for modeling and simulation analysis.
• Leads evaluation and benchmarking of recent and competitive technologies.
• Collaborates with controls software engineers to establish guidelines and performance targets for energy management systems, microgrid controllers, and other functional design.
