Role Summary
The Lead Automation & Control Systems Engineer will be responsible for independently leading and executing multiple automation projects involving DCS, PLC, Safety Systems, Fire & Gas Systems, and Industry 4.0 solutions. The role includes technical leadership, customer engagement, mentoring team members, and supporting project delivery from engineering through commissioning.
Key Responsibilities
• Design, configure, test, and commission DCS, PLC, SIS, and Fire & Gas systems.
• Develop control strategies, interlocks, sequences, operator graphics, and control documentation.
• Prepare and lead FAT, SAT, commissioning, and startup activities.
• Troubleshoot control, safety, networking, and communication issues.
• Interface with customers, conduct technical reviews, and obtain approvals.
• Prepare project deliverables, reports, proposals, FEED studies, and test documentation.
• Lead and execute multiple automation projects independently.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers, conduct technical reviews, and promote engineering best practices.




• Identify opportunities for control system improvements, digitalization, and Industry 4.0 initiatives.

Technical Requirements
• 9+ Years of experience in industrial automation
• Strong expertise in PLC, DCS, SIS, Fire & Gas Systems, IIoT, and Industry 4.0 technologies.

• Knowledge of industrial communication protocols such as Modbus, Profibus, Foundation Fieldbus, and HART.
• Understanding of industrial networking, Ethernet switches, fiber optic networks, firewalls, and cybersecurity fundamentals.
• Familiarity with ISA, IEC, and functional safety standards.
• Strong understanding of process control principles and automation system architectures.
