General industry guidance:
moisture, packaging and hygieneGeneral industry guidance for gummies. Nourish's own limits will come from the SOP and QC.
We will train you.
• Moisture: Gummies absorb water from the air. Too much means sticky gummies and mold. Too little means hard gummies.
• Dry, cool room: Log room temperature and humidity every shift. Report out-of-range readings at once.
• Inks and gel bases: Keep containers closed. Use older stock first (FIFO). Store as the label says.
• Print quality: Report smudges, color bleed, sticky gummies or uneven layers. Stop the machine if a fault repeats.
• Packaging: Pack only set gummies with clean, dry, gloved hands. Check seals, labels, batch number and expiry.
• Hygiene and storage: Wear gloves, cap and mask. Clean fully between designs. At hospital or warehouse sites, keep packs dry and off the floor.
