Job Description: Image & Video Creator (Marketing)

Role Overview

Northern Atlantic is hiring an Image & Video Creator to produce the photos, graphics and videos for our marketing on social media, ads, our website and email.

You will take each idea from brief to finished asset. That means planning shoots, filming, editing, and delivering content sized for every channel. The right person is fast and creative, and is comfortable owning both still images and video.

Key Responsibilities

- Create original images and graphics for social media, paid ads, the website, email and presentations.
- Shoot, edit and produce marketing videos, including short reels and TikToks, product demos, explainers, testimonials and promo ads.
- Plan shoots from start to finish: concepts, storyboards, shot lists, props, locations and talent.
- Edit footage, including color correction, audio cleanup, motion graphics, captions and music.
- Resize and format every asset for each platform (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, Facebook, website).
- Keep all content on-brand by following Northern Atlantic brand guidelines for colors, fonts, logo use and tone.
- Work with the marketing team on campaign ideas and turn briefs into finished visuals on deadline.
- Track how content performs (views, engagement, click-through) and use the results to improve future content.
- Stay current on social trends, video formats and AI creative tools.
- Keep an organized library of raw footage, photos, templates and final assets.

Required Skills and Qualifications

- 1+ years creating images and videos for marketing, social media or an agency.
- A portfolio that shows both photo or graphic work and edited video.




- Strong video editing skills: pacing, cuts, transitions, sound design and subtitles.
- Photography and videography skills: lighting, framing, composition and camera settings.
- Graphic design basics: layout, typography, color theory and visual hierarchy.
- Knowledge of social media formats, aspect ratios and content that makes people stop scrolling.
- Storytelling: turning a marketing message into a clear, engaging visual story.
- Ability to manage several projects at once and meet tight deadlines.
- Explicit communication and openness to feedback.
- Strong attention to detail and brand consistency.

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)

- Motion graphics and 2D animation.
- Experience using AI image and video tools to produce content faster.
- Drone footage or product photography experience.
- Basic copywriting for captions, hooks and on-screen text.
- Knowledge of what works in paid ad creative (Meta, Google and TikTok ads).
- A bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Film, Multimedia, Marketing or a related field, or equivalent experience.

- Video editing: Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro or DaVinci Resolve (required)
- Image editing: Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom (required)
- Graphic design: Adobe Illustrator, Canva or Figma (required)
- Mobile editing: CapCut (required)
- Motion graphics: Adobe After Effects (preferred)
- AI creative tools: Midjourney, Adobe Firefly, Runway or similar (preferred)
- Equipment: DSLR/mirrorless cameras, lighting, microphones, gimbals (required)
