RESTAURANT MANAGER – JOB DESCRIPTIONPosition: Restaurant Manager (RM)

- Key ResponsibilitiesManage the complete day-to-day operations of the restaurant.
- Ensure excellent guest service and maintain restaurant service standards.
- Supervise Captains, Stewards, GREs and other FOH staff.
- Prepare duty rosters, shift allocations and daily briefings.
- Coordinate closely with the Kitchen, Bar, Cashier and other departments.
- Handle guest complaints, feedback and service recovery professionally.
- Drive restaurant sales through upselling, promotions and effective team management.
- Monitor daily sales, covers, average bill value and operational performance.
- Ensure proper cash handling, POS operations and billing procedures.
- Monitor food quality, hygiene, cleanliness and restaurant presentation.
- Control wastage, breakage, pilferage and other operational costs.
- Maintain inventory and ensure timely coordination for stock requirements.
- Train,



coach and motivate staff to improve service and performance.
- Ensure compliance with company SOPs, discipline, grooming and attendance.
- Prepare daily operational reports and highlight issues to management.
- Support events, corporate bookings and special guest requirements.
- Ensure smooth opening and closing procedures of the outlet.
- Candidate ProfileGraduate / Diploma in Hotel Management or Hospitality preferred.
- 3–6 years of experience in restaurant/F&B; operations, with relevant supervisory or managerial experience.
- Strong communication, leadership and guest-handling skills.
- Positive knowledge of restaurant operations, POS, sales and basic cost control.
- Presentable, well-groomed and customer-focused.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage a high-volume restaurant.
- Flexible to work rotational shifts, weekends and holidays.
