Wire Cut Programmer cum OperatorExperience: 2–5 years

Industry: Auto Component / Tool Room / Manufacturing

Key Responsibilities:

- Operate and program Wire EDM / Wire Cut machines for precision components, dies, punches, tools, and fixtures.
- Prepare CNC programs based on drawings, CAD data, and machining requirements.
- Set machine parameters, wire, workpiece, offsets, and cutting conditions.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, GD&T;, and dimensional tolerances.
- Ensure components are produced as per required dimensions, accuracy, and surface finish.
- Perform machine setting, tooling, alignment, and job inspection.
- Monitor machining operations and troubleshoot basic machine/programming issues.
- Carry out in-process and final inspection using measuring instruments such as Vernier, micrometer, height gauge, etc.
- Optimize cutting parameters and programs to improve cycle time, accuracy, and machine utilization.
- Maintain machine, consumables, tools,



and daily production/machine records.
- Coordinate with the Tool Room, Production, Quality, and Design teams for timely completion of jobs.
- Follow all safety, quality, housekeeping, and preventive maintenance procedures.

Key Skills:

- Hands-on experience in Wire EDM / Wire Cut programming and operation
- Knowledge of CNC programming and CAD/CAM
- Ability to read 2D drawings and understand GD&T;
- Knowledge of machining parameters, tolerances, and precision measurement
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Valuable understanding of tool & die / fixture manufacturing
- Quality and productivity-oriented approach

Preferred: Candidates with experience in auto-component/tool-room manufacturing and precision die, punch, mould, or fixture components will be preferred.
