Job Title: Business Development Manager

BU / Function: Consumer Banking

Reports To: SM – CASA / Branch Manager (BM)

Age Range: Up to 30 years

Compensation: As per bank norms (to be discussed at interview)

Role Summary:

• Responsible for acquiring new-to-bank clients and cross-selling products to existing clients of the bank.

• Ensuring the quality and profile of clients acquired for the bank are as per the bank standards.

• Responsible for conducting various marketing activities to generate leads.

Key Responsibilities:

• Acquiring new-to-bank clients by meeting clients and convincing them to open a bank account.

• Ensuring that the profile of such clients is as per the bank standards.

• Checking KYC documents on current client account opening forms.





• Onboarding newly acquired clients by providing them with the required deliverables (cheque book / debit card).

• Activating newly onboarded customers on Mobile Banking / Net Banking.

• Business lead generation through marketing activities / tele-calling.

• Cross-selling products to previously acquired clients.

Education & Work Experience:

• Education (Essential): Graduate / Postgraduate

• Experience (Essential): 2–3 years of experience in the BFSI industry

• Specific Requirement: Understanding of KYC norms

• Proficient in the local language and English.

• Service attitude and customer-centric approach.

• Proactive in achieving sales targets.
