- 1. Business Development & Lead GenerationIdentify and develop new business opportunities for elevators, lifts and related vertical transportation solutions.
- Generate leads through direct field visits, references, networking, digital channels, databases, exhibitions and industry contacts.
- Identify upcoming residential, commercial, industrial, hospital, hotel, institutional and infrastructure projects.
- Build and maintain a robust pipeline of prospective projects and customers.
- Conduct regular market research to identify new projects and competitors.
- 2. Builder, Developer & Consultant RelationshipDevelop relationships with:
-

- Builders and real-estate developers
- Architects
- Structural consultants
- MEP consultants
- Elevator/vertical transportation consultants
- Civil contractors
- Project management consultants
- Facility management companies
- Government and institutional organizations
- Meet key decision-makers and understand project requirements.
- Ensure the company is considered during the elevator specification and vendor-selection stage.
- Maintain long-term relationships with existing clients and generate repeat business.
- 3. Project SalesIdentify upcoming elevator requirements at the early stage of construction projects.
- Understand project specifications, number of floors, number and type of elevators, capacity, speed, shaft dimensions and other technical requirements.
- Coordinate with the technical/estimation team for preparing suitable solutions and quotations.
- Arrange and participate in customer/site visits.
- Follow up on enquiries, quotations, technical clarifications and commercial negotiations.
- Drive opportunities from lead → enquiry → quotation → negotiation → order closure.
- 4. Tender & Quotation ManagementIdentify relevant private and government tenders/projects.
- Coordinate with the estimation and technical teams for tender submissions.
- Review customer requirements, BOQ, specifications and commercial conditions.
- Ensure timely submission of quotations and tender documents.
- Follow up with customers/consultants after quotation submission.
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms and commercial conditions within approved limits.
- 5. Sales & Order ClosureAchieve monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets.
- Maintain accurate sales forecasts and pipeline reports.
- Conduct regular follow-ups with prospects and decision-makers.
- Negotiate effectively while protecting company margins.
- Close orders within the agreed commercial and technical parameters.




- Coordinate with management for approval of special pricing and commercial terms.
- 6. Existing Customer & AMC BusinessMaintain relationships with existing customers.
- Identify opportunities for:

- Additional elevators
- Modernization
- Replacement
- Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMC)
- Repairs and upgrades
- Generate referrals and repeat business from existing customers.
- 7. Exhibition & Marketing ActivitiesRepresent the company at exhibitions, expos, industry events and networking meetings.
- Generate and qualify leads from exhibitions.
- Coordinate with the sales team for systematic follow-up of exhibition leads.
- Support marketing activities, product presentations and customer engagement programs.
- 8. Sales Team CoordinationCoordinate with Business Development Executives / Sales Executives.
- Allocate and monitor leads where applicable.
- Review daily/weekly sales activities and follow-ups.
- Support the sales team in important customer meetings and negotiations.
- Guide team members on prospecting, pitching and closing techniques.
- 9. CRM & ReportingMaintain updated records of leads, enquiries, quotations and opportunities.
- Maintain a project-wise sales pipeline.
- Submit weekly/monthly sales reports to management.
- Track:

- Maintain proper documentation of customer interactions and project information.

- Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, Sales or a related field.




- 3–7 years of experience in business development/project sales.
- Experience in the elevator/lift, construction, building materials, MEP, HVAC, electrical, infrastructure or related B2B industry will be preferred.
- Candidates with direct elevator industry experience will have an advantage.
- Required SkillsStrong B2B sales and business development skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong negotiation and closing abilities.
- Good relationship-building skills.
- Ability to identify upcoming construction projects.
- Ability to understand basic technical/project requirements.
- Strong follow-up and pipeline-management skills.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel, Word and CRM tools.
- Willingness to travel for customer meetings and site visits.
- Target-oriented and self-motivated approach.

- Elevator installation/project lifecycle
- BIS/Indian elevator standards and applicable safety requirements
- Elevator consultants and project specifications
- Construction/project sales

CompensationSalary: 23,000 to ₹ 50,000 per annum, depending on experience and performance.

Incentives: Performance-based sales incentives as per company policy.

Important RequirementThis is a field-oriented B2B sales role. The candidate should be comfortable travelling for customer meetings, project visits, builder/architect/consultant meetings and business development activities.

Candidates with an existing network among builders, developers, architects, consultants, contractors and project decision-makers in Bengaluru will be preferred.
