Key Responsibilities
Package & Order Handling: Pick up assigned orders, food, or packages from hubs, stores, or restaurants; inspect items for damage; and verify details before departure.
Navigation & Timely Delivery: Plan productive routes using GPS navigation systems to ensure items are delivered within specified time windows.
Customer Interaction: Hand over orders to customers professionally, collect payments (cash/digital), collect signatures, and verify proof of delivery.
Vehicle & Safety Maintenance: Maintain the delivery vehicle (bike, scooter, van, or bicycle) in clean and roadworthy condition, abiding strictly by traffic laws.
Issue Resolution: Handle delivery delays, address navigation issues, or customer inquiries promptly and report problems to the dispatch/support team.
Record Keeping: Log delivery statuses, completed tasks, and payment collections accurately using delivery management apps
